Android Kunjappan version 5.25 is a Malayalam movie that deals with relationship between man and machine which is futuristic, yet believable. Set in a village against a backdrop of a father and son, struggling to deal with conflict due to son's career aspirations, this movie really manages to evoke laughter, emotion and tension with ease. The best part of the comedy sequences are blend naturally into the story, it is all situational. The humour is not at the cost of making fun of others. The casting is another high point of this movie, every character is real to life and not larger than life! Since I do not know the actors, it helped to identify them through character they were playing (instead of other way around). This is a very good example of how a simple story can be effectively told in a film, that too a cheap sci-fi story.
